thenetworkone & Little Black Book partnership now live

One of the best ways to win new business is to get yourselves (and your work) in front of the clients. New clients need to have seen you. Seen you on stage at a conference maybe. Seen your work, and wondered ‘who made that?’ And seen you in the media.

In today’s creator economy, influencers use online platforms to create their own visibility. For this reason, we've partnered with Little Black Book (LBB Online) - an independent, international news source which gives you the opportunity to have your own stories published.

LBB was started for creative people and producers, but now it’s the place clients go when they want to look for original creativity and fresh talent. LBB has 300,000 monthly visitors from the creative industries, and 40% of them are brand owners – meaning, your clients.

That means, three new business prospects start reading, every minute.

Membership is usually £1,000 GBP, but if you join through thenetworkone, you'll get a fast-tracked membership at HALF the regular cost - just £500 GBP!

thenetworkone partnership with The Marketing Society

The Marketing Society, now active on three continents, is arguably the most dynamic networking membership organisation in the world, for senior client-side marketers.

In September, we will launch a program where individual leaders of thenetworkone member and accredited agencies can join the Society, together with one of their senior clients, through a competitively priced “bubble” membership program, with fast-track approval.

If you’d like to register your interest, please write to Stephanie Fox. If you’d like to know more about the Marketing Society, click here.

Therefore, our President, Julian Boulding, has distilled his thoughts to bring you the (still not) Cannes Review. Click here to read - we hope you enjoy it!

Your own office in Soho, Central London

Since March 2020, we have not used our lovely office in Soho, central London, due to UK Government guidelines on social distancing and working from home. On 19th July, these restrictions were removed. Now, we are planning to return – but not five days a week.

Perhaps you are thinking the same?

Or perhaps you don’t have a long term policy, but just need a nice space to meet clients or work with colleagues, on occasional days?

We have a solution: use our office!

It is light, well-ventilated and open-plan – with eight desk spaces, plus a conference room for up to six people. It has its own washroom / WC, and small kitchenette, within the office. Plus wifi, of course.

You can find more info, photos and pricing here. If you're interested, please let us know

#GründerInnenstadt – Facebook and Instagram provide attention-grabbing support for Germany's female founders in the Covid pandemic

Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, German city centres and businesses have been struggling even more than before with a lack of walk-in customers and high losses in sales. Particularly affected: businesses run by women.

But there are female founders who are successful despite the pandemic. German independent agency, segmenta, have launched the #GründerInnenstadt initiative together with their client Facebook/Instagram, to give female founders a stage.

For this, segmenta redesigned the shop windows of female-led businesses together with renowned female artists and highlight their individual stories. Well-known German celebrity Sylvie Meis acted as the ambassador of the campaign. Through their broad PR campaign, they were able to achieve a reach of over 71 million in the German media world with over 100 pieces of coverage.

Segmenta communications was responsible for the conception, creation, project management and media work for the campaign. More information can be found here.

The rules for Influencer Marketing around the world

Influencer marketing is now frequently used as a way for brands to target customers and advertise virally for far less cost and quicker results than traditional methods. But there are growing problems and criticisms about its use.

In many countries around the world, fears about misleading the public and adverse effects on young or vulnerable members of society have prompted Governments and regulators to focus their attention on trying to control or regulate influencers.

Jeremy Stern, CEO of PromoVeritas, experts in global marketing compliance and promotional excellence, examines the current situation and takes us on a whistle-stop tour of some of the rules for influencer marketing around the world. Read on here.
